Hinged Stamp Pendant - recycling stamps – Katherine Mansfield – by su reaL atelier.
I really enjoyed viewing the film 'Bliss' on TVNZ earlier this week - a biopic on the early life of NZ published short story writer Katherine Mansfield. Written and directed by Sarah Murray, the story begins early 20th century following Mansfield's transformation from rebellious young woman, to published writer. Like many others, I'm now very tempted to read her work.
Romps, rebellion and runaway bride - an incredible performance by actor Kate Elliott, who plays Katherine Mansfield in the film 'Bliss'.
Katherine Mansfield painted by Anne Estelle Rice (UK).  Oil on canvas - 1918.
"Risk! Risk anything!  Care no more for the opinions of others, for those voices.  Do the hardest thing on earth for you.  Act for yourself.  Face the truth."  -   quote by Katherine Mansfield.
