FLYING CARPET

Final airing in the windy sea breeze - the half-cut flying carpet.

FLYING CARPET

The streets were lined with inorganic rubbish recently over on Waiheke, with people out and about finding treasures. A fantastic way to recycle! I knew there was a Persian rug there for me somewhere, and I found it only having to walk a couple of streets - though only half of it was worth salvaging! I dealt with it, and got the suds straight into it, and nearly ran the tank dry I'm sure with a long showering of water. Very satisfying, and it fits exactly where I visualised it to go.

Now a magic carpet. After another tweak with the scissors the rug eventually made itself at home. I love it's worn look, is really soft under bare feet, and I feel good about giving at least half of it another life. Where's the Genie?
