GIVE ME A BREAK

Footloose and fancy free. I bought this leg at the roadside stall where I purchased the flag cushion cover. It looked very lonely propped up all by itself against a hedge. Homeless and legless, it now inspires me to get my feet up. It's going to join my other mannequins soon who are having an extended break from su reaL house modelling.
Lower deck at the bach. Faux fireplace, and mantlepiece reflecting su reaL experiments; my sister's vintage, fluff stool; NZ Maori fabric squab cover from a charity store temporarily covers the chesterfield chair which is a tribute to one of my treasured Grandmothers, and is an on-going personal project starting with her painted initials; painting on small table by Waiheke artist Ingrid Berzins, and Onetangi dark ale from my brother's stash, brewed on Waiheke Island.
A treasured gift - Waiheke artist Ingrid Berzins painted 'On another plane' for me after we met.
