HOT AND WOOLLY

I'm thrilled with my outdoor wool ball holder invention.
HOT AND WOOLLY

Another very hot, stunning day here at Waiheke, and a welcome day off for me. After a beach visit and a few small jobs, I set up a knitting spot in the shade and started one of my new men's beanie designs. It's addictive, and I've wanted to get this one going for ages.
The su reaL atelier patch cushion from the ORGANIC range is many years old, and was inspired by a tile from a Spanish palace. It brings a bit of Latin to the rustic bach. This piece has been looked after, so it's in pretty good knick. I found the WONDERMAN pillow case in a charity store also many years ago when I was sourcing the patterned, retro variety. I've always really loved it, and it's definitely my most favourite.
Back of the tile cushion. A lot of my labels from the archives were hand embroidered, though this was done on the machine turning the wheel by hand. Time consuming craziness! I like the way the ink has bled.
Cicadas, birds, breeze, and even better getting my feet up.
